We support Bristol and Cardiff’s creatives, makers and entrepreneurs by providing affordable and lively studios and offices in the heart of our cities. Through cultivating a thriving community of innovative, like-minded people, we also strive to create an arena of networking and collaboration.
Meanwhile Creative has two goals:
To unlock dormant commercial space for positive, creative use.
To offer flexible work space for creatives, start-ups and small businesses.
Meanwhile Creative began in 2012 with opening of Bridewell Space, turning what was the New Bridewell police station into a buzzing creative work place. Whilst Bridewell Space is no more, it paved the way for future Meanwhile projects.
Our creative workspace projects now include Pithay Studios near Broadmead, Deben House next to Old Market, Freestone Studios and Kinsgland Studios in St Philips, Lincoln Street Warehouse in Lawrence Hill, 36 King Street and St Thomas Street Studios. In 2016 we also launched our first Cardiff workspace, Meanwhile House Cardiff.
Whether it’s a months’ lease to complete an artistic project or a longer-term home for you to grow and develop, we should be able to find a home for you. The spaces that we currently have available can be found on our website.
