Manifesto for the Visual Arts

CVAN England have shared their Manifesto for the Visual Arts – a call to action for the first 100 days of the new Parliament, a vital time for decision making and action.

21 UK visual arts organisations have joined forces to provide a clear roadmap for the next UK government to better support and invest in the visual arts sector. This collective manifesto calls for fair pay for freelancers, investment in creative education and sustainable art spaces.

With the visual arts contributing £49 billion to the UK’s creative industries, it’s time to recognise the power of the UK’s visual arts and maintain our global presence.
