(Un)broken Memories

    Event start date: 22/07/2024

Location: Create Centre, Bristol, BS1 6XN

Almost a million people in the UK currently live with dementia, which is projected to rise by over 40% by 2040. This July, the Create Centre will be hosting an exhibition of artworks by artists both living with and reflecting on dementia, in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK.

(Un)broken Memories showcases the work of Adrienne Blake, Michael Buckland, Debbie Castro, Jenni Dutton, and Nicola Millman, with a range of artworks including painting, drawing, film, sculpture and photography. Together, their work shines a light on the challenges faced by those living with dementia and the power of creativity and art to provide catharsis and hope.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a series of talks, with all money raised going to Alzheimer’s Research UK, the UK’s leading charity for dementia research. Visit our Events page for details and ticket links.

End date: 5:00pm on Friday July 26th, 2024
