I’m Kerry and I specialise in original botanical lino prints and metal sculptures all based around my love of my architectural leafy plants, spiky cacti and juicy succulents.
I’m originally from London and moved to the south west to complete a BA Hons in Ceramics before moving to Bristol in 1999. I now work mainly with lino from my studio in Document Studios in the Old Market area of Bristol
My colourful botanical lino prints are created using the reduction lino printing method ( a way of creating multiple colours and layers with using just one lino block to print with). I also make black and white lino prints and have a selection of greeting cards of my prints.
My botanical sculptures are made from brass or copper and are made using traditional silversmithing techniques.
All available work to buy can be found at www.kerryday.co.uk/shop and prices start from £2.50
I also teach regular lino printing classes from my studio as well as Bristol Folk House and provide free online tutorials on my YouTube Channel Kerry Day Arts
