‘dona B drawings’ is the Bristol-based brand created by illustrator Dona Bradley. Originally trained as a Spatial Designer Dona is crazy about drawing buildings & big, engineered landmarks. That’s perfect for Bristol with its wide-ranging architecture and Brunel heritage.
She was one of the artists selected for the Gloucester Road Art Banners Project in 2017 and is super chuffed about being included in the publication of the Bristol & Bath Art Book now on sale in high street book shops and online.
Working with a combination of hand-drawing and computer graphics Dona has created illustrations of iconic Bristol landmarks including the Suspension Bridge, SS Great Britain, Concorde, The Matthew & Cabot Tower which are available as prints. Her illustrations are also printed onto a range of gifts & homewares from mugs to magnets, tote bags to table mats & more celebrating the beauty, culture & heritage of Bristol.
Her products are currently stocked at Village Clifton, Clifton Suspension Bridge Visitor Centre, St Mary Redcliffe, We Make Bristol in Westbury, Eclectic Gifts in Hanham and Glass Designs & Gallery in Southville with hopefully more to follow very soon. You will find Dona at some of the well-known Art Trails in Bristol and at Bristol pop-ups now and then too plus occasional markets across the city.
