When: 17-19 May from 10.30am to 6pm

UWE BA Media and Cultural Studies students present an exhibition and screening of their critical media production work, from 17th - 19th May.

Students will exhibit work that demonstrates their distinct critical and creative approaches to the theory and practice of documentary video, interactive media, journalism and photo media.

The BA programme in Media and Cultural Studies at UWE encourages a critical approach to the complex and dynamic culture we live in, and the role of the media within it. Students explore a wide range of topics such as: the global media industries; audience tastes and consumer culture; youth cultures; technological change and digital media; urban cultures; environmentalism and the media, the design of museum displays, and popular science in the media. These topics are explored through written work as well as through critical and creative media production.
